The seller is an intermediary service provider connecting clients with independent chefs. The service covered by this form is provided by the seller. The catering service for the event is agreed separately between the chef and the consumer; the seller is not a party to that service.
2. Main characteristics of the service
Contact unlock service: If the chef accepts the inquiry sent by the consumer, the chef’s name, phone, email and Instagram details are displayed to the consumer and in-platform messaging between the parties opens.
Credit pack: Prepaid packs of 1, 5 or 10 credits, each granting one unlock. A credit is deducted when the chef accepts the inquiry and returned to the balance on decline or timeout.
3. Total price
The total price including VAT is shown separately on the payment page and in the order summary. No additional fees, shipping or delivery charges apply beyond the unlock and credit pack prices. Instalment or currency conversion charges applied by your bank are not the seller’s responsibility.
4. Payment
4.1. Payment is made by credit or debit card with 3D Secure through the Iyzico infrastructure. Card details are not stored on the seller’s servers.
4.2. For the unlock service, the amount is blocked on your card as a pre-authorization and is not charged until the chef accepts the inquiry.
4.3. If the chef does not accept within 48 hours or declines, the pre-authorization is voided and the consumer is not charged anything. The time for the blocked amount to be released depends on the bank.
4.4. For credit packs, payment is charged at the time of purchase.
5. Performance
5.1. The unlock service is performed electronically and immediately upon the chef’s acceptance; the chef’s contact details appear in the consumer’s account and a notification is sent.
5.2. Credit packs are added to the consumer’s account immediately upon payment approval.
5.3. An e-Archive invoice is issued in the consumer’s name for every payment and made available in the account panel.
6. Right of withdrawal and exception
6.1. As a rule, the consumer has the right to withdraw within 14 days of the contract’s conclusion without giving reasons and without paying any penalty.
6.2. Exception: Under Article 15/1-(ğ) of the Regulation on Distance Contracts, “services whose performance has begun with the consumer’s approval before the end of the withdrawal period”, and under Article 15/1-(h), “services performed instantly in electronic form and intangible goods delivered instantly to the consumer”, are excluded from the right of withdrawal. Before ordering, the consumer expressly approves that the unlock service is performed immediately upon the chef’s acceptance and that the consumer therefore loses the right of withdrawal after acceptance.
6.3. The consumer may withdraw the inquiry before the chef accepts; in that case the pre-authorization is voided and no fee is charged.
6.4. Unused credits: For credit packs, the right of withdrawal applies to unused credits within 14 days of purchase. [lawyer to assess]
6.5. Notice of withdrawal is given in writing to [COMPANY_EMAIL] or to the KEP address [COMPANY_KEP]. Upon withdrawal, the amount is refunded to the payment instrument used within 14 days of receipt of the notice.
7. Complaints
7.1. You may submit complaints to [COMPANY_EMAIL], by phone at [COMPANY_PHONE], or via the reporting flow on the Platform.
7.2. Within the monetary limits announced by the Ministry of Trade, you may apply to the Consumer Arbitration Committee at your place of residence or where the transaction was made, and to the Consumer Court for disputes exceeding those limits. Applications can also be made via e-Devlet through TÜBİS.
8. Other provisions
This form is an integral part of the Distance Sales Agreement. The consumer cannot proceed to payment without reading and approving this form. The approved version is retained in the consumer’s account.
